Thank you to everyone who came out for our first intraleague bout of the season, Bouquet of Bruises! We had a blast and we hope that you did, too! If you weren't able to make it out, though, here is the re-cap:

The score was neck and neck until the second half, but the Battleground Betties stepped up their game to make the final score 166 (Battleground Betties) to 107 (Elm Street Nightmares). Congratulations to the Battleground Betties!

Bouquet of Bruises: Battleground Betties vs Elm Street Nightmares

This will be GSORD's first intraleague bout of the season! GSORD has split into 3 "home" teams within our league. Each team is made up of girls on the league who are active members. The 3 teams (Battleground Betties, Mad Dollies, and Elm St. Nightmares) are set to compete in an "intraleague tournament" that will run throughout the season (in the midst of the Gate City Roller Girls travel team games!) with a championship game at the end of the season. Not to mention whichever team wins gets a SWEET trophy made by our very own rollergirl, Goodie Two Bruise. So pick sides, create rivalries with your friends, do what you gotta do.. but these teams are OUT FOR BLOOD this season to claim the title of best home team! Check out each team's Facebook page!: Battleground Betties Mad Dollies Elm St. Nightmares A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tsunami relief via the Red Cross. At the after party (@ Westerwood Tavern), jello shots will be available for $1.50 with all profits being donated as well!!
